The Supermarine Seagull V Walrus
Designed by Reginald J. Mitchell, this aircraft was first known as the Seagull V and then later generations flown from 1933 were known as the Walrus. The Walrus was the first British aircraft to be built with a fully retractable undercarriage, fully enclosed crew accommodations, and had fuselage that was entirely metal.
