1960s

A horizontal band-powered Miniature Lineshaft made by Mamod.

Construction

The item consists of two tall outline-triangular green-painted standards holding a driveshaft fitted with a selection of Meccano-compatible pulleys, all mounted on a large red metal baseplate with 7×13 holes around the edge, using Meccano (half-inch) spacings.

Version

The standards are riveted to the base, and the base shows a later Mamod logo.
