Mamod Workshop

1960s -

Mamod Working Models, a range consisting of a driveshaft and set of four model and miniature factory tools that could be belt-driven from a Mamod or Meccano steam engine.

Other then the WS-1 Workshops, the other pieces didn't seem to have model numbers (at least, not in the 1960s catalogues we've seen).

Construction

All items had a bright red Meccano-compatible base. Earlier models tended to have the green uprights bolted to the base, with intermediate washers. On some later models the pieces were just riveted to the bases.

WS1 Workshop

Mamod also sold the complete set of workshop items, all fitted to a shared large red base, as as the Mamod WS1 Workshop. We're not sure if the pieces were riveted in place or detachable
