Where Betta Bilda Teeny Trucks was designed around the standard Betta Bilda bricks, the larger-scale 1969 Betta Bilda Big Trucks was designed around the parts designed for Betta Bilda Engineer (helped out by the addition of a moulded plastic lorry cab, and a base and wheels).
This entirely new concept in building sets provides a ready formed cab and lorry base, which, when used in conjunction with Engineer beams, nuts and bolts, etc. – enables really authentic looking lorries to be constructed.
