Dinky Ships

1930s -     

In the 1930s, Meccano Ltd. had a range of diecast waterline ship models in their "Dinky" range, broadly similar to the later post-war Triang Minic Ships range (but with fewer models).

1939 range:

    • 51b – "Europa"
    • 51c – "Rex"
    • 51d – "Empress of Britain"
    • 51e – "Strathaird"
    • 51f – "Queen of Bermuda"
    • 51g – "Britannic"
  • 52a – Cunard White Star Liner "Queen Mary" (with rollers and presentation box)
  • 52c – "Normandie"
  • 52e – Cunard White Star Liner "Queen Elizabeth"
  • 52m – Cunard White Star Liner "Queen Mary" (without rollers or presentation box)
  • 53az – Battleship "Dunquerque"
