Card No. 25 : The CAUDRON MONOPLANE (France)
This small two-seater is one of the many types used in France by the flying clubs, private schools and private owners. It is a strongly-built aeroplane with a cruising speed of about 80 m.p.h., and it is particularly suitable for school work, being easy to fly and capable of aerobatics. Dual controls are fitted, but the pilot generally occupies the rear seat behind which is a luggage compartment for use when touring. Caudron monoplanes are often seen at British flying meetings, and are regular participants in the annual Round-Europe Race for light aeroplanes.
