A green gauge 1 steam-powered model of the old GWR County "3800-Class" 4-4-0 "County of Northampton" locomotive, number 3410, with gold and black lining and tender marked "GREAT WESTERN" .
Made by Bing for Bassett-Lowke, circa 1908.
The original locomotive
The original "County" class locomotives were built in three batches, in 1904, 1906 and 1912, and were later renumbered into the 3800- range.
