Arch Two , Area 29 1956 |
A diecast stagecoach with two horses, sold with a Disney "Davy Crockett" licensing, and dated by the Newson book to 1956.
is a move typical of Morestone's incoherent approach to branding, the company seems to have been uncertain whether to market this as a "Modern Series" item, or a "Morestone Series" piece, and the box says "Modern Morestone Series".
Davy Crockett tv series
Walt Disney's "Davy Crockett" miniseries (1954-1955) consisted of five one-hour episodes, which were later spliced together to make two films, both released in 1956.
The series is chiefly remembered for the very catchy theme song ("The Ballad of Davy Crockett"), sung by Fess Parker "Day-VEEE ... Day-vee Crocket, King of the Wild Frontier".
