Card No. 27 : The FARMAN F-430 CABIN MONOPLANE (France)
This twin-engined monoplane was developed for use on French internal air-mail lines. It has a roomy cabin seating five or six passengers and a cockpit in the nose for the pilot, from which there is a very good view. The engines are the famous British D.H. "Gipsy-Majors," and are built into the wings. The Farman is particularly clean in its lines and has a top speed of 130 m.p.h. it operates on the Paris-Bordeaux-Biarritz service.
