Card No. 33  : The FORD AIR LINER (U.S.A.)

This three-engined air liner is an all-metal commercial aeroplane seating two pilots and sixteen passengers in a long but rather narrow cabin. At one time in its career it held the world's speed record for its class with a speed of 162 m.p.h. It has been used for some years on all the principal American air routes and is used in this country by smaller air lines. The type is used on a regular service between London and Le Touquet.
