Shelf 2
1949 - 1970 |
A brown farm trailer (Dinky Toys 320), with a red base and a single yellow framed wheel. The piece was produced between 1949-70, and was originally numbered 27b.
Just one brown panel is intact - originally the toy would have two of these detatchable panels, designed to hold hay and other farm goods in place.
The Dinky toy was named after the West Midlands town of Halesowen, possibly just to make it sound less generic.
