Shelf 03
1930s |
A boxed unstarted kit of the Hawker Hind two-seater trainer biplane. These were the first 1:72 plastic aeroplane kits to be available, predating Airfix.
Details
The kit comes in a two-part box with a white base and an enclosing silver lid with a green and white label with red highlights, bearing a monochrome photograph of the model. The main yellow unpainted plastic components are strung to the box insert.
Box
The box is wider and flatter than the boxes used for the FROG Penguin assembled models, but is otherwise styled to match.
