Card No. 35 : The LAMBERT MONOCOUPE (U.S.A.)
The Monocoupe illustrated is the latest of a line of small touring aeroplanes designed to give saloon car comfort with the best possible view for the pilot. Two seats are arranged side by side and controls are fitted to each. Although essentially a touring aeroplane the Monocoupe can perform any of the usual aerobatics. It has a top speed of about 140 mph. The machine illustrated took part in the England-Australia Air Race, but although not successful, made a very good impression with its appearance and performance.
