Card No. 50 : The ORTA-SAINT- HUBERT MONOPLANE (Belgium)
The St. Hubert monoplane is a typical example of the light sports aeroplane used on the Continent for club flying, instruction and air touring. It is a machine of sturdy structure, and though not intended for racing or aerobatics, is seen quite frequently at flying events. A feature of the design is the high position of the wing which allows a very good view to both pilot and passenger. It is powered by a small British engine, and has a cruising speed of about 90 mph.
