A boxed silver-coloured diecast metal Singapore Flying Boat (Dinky Toys60h), made by Meccano Ltd. from 1936 to 1941.
Appearance
The aircraft is a biplane flying boat with a triple tail, with four wing engines on two pods (two pointing forwards, two pointing back) and silver propellors, painted silver, with RAF roundels on the wings (red and blue only, on silver), and supplied with a split pin protruding from the upper wing to allow it to be suspended from a wire.
Inclusion
This model is displayed as part of Dinky Toys set 61.
