A framed Triang retailer fold-out poster, showing the range of toys, probably produced circa ~1938/1939.
The poster is framed with its "single sheet poster" side visible. The rear side of the sheet will probably have various different-sized panels corresponding to how the sheet looks when folded up, but we can't get a look at this without taking apart the poster's framing.
Dating
The poster describes the FROG P.V.6 Dive Bomber as being "new".
This is a different fold-out poster to the version included with the reproduction '37-38 catalogue book, although the range of toys displayed is in the main very similar. The larger range of Mickey Mouse merchandise suggests that this one is probably later. The inclusion of the non-flying FROG Penguin Kits suggests that it's no earlier than 1937, and after 1939 we're into World War Two. A few products displayed (Lighthouse, NORE Lightship) aren't in the repro 1937/1938 catalogue, and we think they're later. There was a decent-sized 1939/1940 catalogue (probably compiled in late 1938), which it might correspond to.
A difficulty with dating these posters and fold-out single-sheet catalogues is that Lines Brothers tended not to print dates on them, and we know in the case of the Minic vehicles single-sheet "strip" catalogues, they produced revisions and variations whenever they felt like it.
The poster has a "Christmas tree" background design placed top-centre, so it might even be a seasonal variation, produced specifically for the Christmas period. If it was produced for Christmas, we're probably looking at Christmas '38 or '39 as likely dates.
