1936: Tunnel Märklin 2516 [image info]
A high arched green embossed tinplate tunnel representing a hill with a zig-zag path on each side, made by Märklin probably in the 1920s or early 1930s.
Identification
The tunnel doesn't quite correspond to any of the images we have in our 1930s catalogues. It seems to be a more elaborate version of 2516, with two additional tinplate profile buildings on each side.
