An unbuilt, complete example of a 1930s Skybirds model aircraft kit, Model Number 1, of a Cierva C-24 Autogiro.
The kit is complete, with all the wooden components painstakingly strung to the white interior of a bright red flat box.
Choice of model
While other autogiro models (Britains Ltd, Dinky Toys), were of the early Cierva C.30, Skybirds (starting their range of model aircraft a bit later) chose to model a later two-seater version with an enclosed cabin.
