2013 saw a major Heritage Lottery Fund -sponsored initiative to celebrate and mark the 150th anniversary of Frank Hornby, and we declared 2013 Frank Hornby Year.
In Brighton we held an awareness launch at ModelWorld 2013, in February, and a series of events during Frank Hornby Week, the week surrounding the birthday of Frank Hornby on 11th May.
Other organisations also held events to mark the year.
